Hi !! Welcome to my website. As you can guess I'm a car nut, my passion is the TOYOTA MR2 MK1, I currently own a 1988 MK1 TBAR which can be seen below. I bought this in 1999 for £2999 and have enjoyed every minute of ownership. Have a browse about and click on the tabs on the right, I have an MR2 toy shop where I'm sellig 100's of mr2 model toys and I've also got a stack of MR2 MK1, MK2 and MK3 brochures, collected from all over the world, UK MK1 brochures in particular, I have loads, if you would like anything then please get in touch with your requirements. This is what its all about !! the MR2 Mk1 one of Japans finest sports cars now demanding cult and classic status, now 27 years old! You can pick these up now for around £600 - £1000 for a road worthy example, a mint example demands a good price as there aren't many about. Most examples have rotted away or have been broken for spares or raced in the series. Look to pay £3000 - £3500 for a really good, mint rust free low mileage ( 70 - 80k ) example ;0)
 

Welcome to my MR2 and photography  based website, just 2 of my passions in life. The reason for setting up this website is to help promote the TOYOTA MR2 MK1 as a true 80's classic the MR2 MK1 Club and IMOC, and to establish a solid, enthusiastic group of local MR2 enthusiasts around the UK and in the North East ( Durham, Teeside and Newcastle ) area. Here in the North East of England I regularly see many MR2's driving about or parked up and I'm sure a lot of owners are not aware of our MK1 Club which is dedicated solely to the MK1, if you do happen to live in the North East then get in contact, I'm hoping to build a good platform via this site to communicate Club going on's both Nationally and regionally so please keep visiting from time to time as I'll certainly be updating it on a regular basis. We are very active members  and like nothing better then to get the MK1 out the garage, give it a polish and than a good blast down the road! During the summer we hold many drives throughout the region, attend various shows and events and meet socially. Feel free to visit the guest book or start a topic on the forum. Only a few 'MR2' plates available in the UK and all are over £25000 ! This is my own plate that is currently on my 88' MK1 TBAR, looks amazing. I'm looking for sensible offers, please email me with your interest, the plate is ready to be transfered onto your MR2. Try searching MR2 into all the websites and only 1 or 2 MR2 plates that spell MR2 area available, take a look at their values, this could be a future investment for sure as I'm asking no where near those prices.

THE MR2 Mk1 CLUB   

The main aim of the club is to promote a wider acceptance of the TOYOTA MR2 MK1 as a classic car and to promote a focal point for all enthusiasts of this unique sports car. If you have had or do now own a Toyota MR2 MK1 ( 1984 - 1989 ) then why not get involved with our local Club here in the North East of England. Our region covers Durham, Teesside, Newcastle, Wearside, North Yorkshire and Northumberland. We meet regularly throughout the year and attend shows and events within the region as well as offer a focal point for enthusiasts to share experiences, ideas and technical advice.
